It has been a relatively quiet weekend for the Shaftesbury Cycling Club, with only two of the club riders taking part in the Barnet Cycling Club Veterans 10 mile time trial which was held on Saturday evening on the A1.
The weather was good, the outgoing five miles much easier than the five miles back to the timekeeper!
Terry Anderson, the veteran club champion, once again showed he was a power to be reckoned with and recorded a very good time of 22 minutes 41 seconds, while Derek Buffoni showed he is still an improving force with 23 minutes 44 seconds.
