Aviation enthusiasts will flock to North Weald airfield for the second weekend running when Aerofair 99 takes off tomorrow.
The event, now established as the leading general aviation exhibition in the country, follows last Sunday's successful North Weald 99 air show.
Aerofair, now in its fourth year, is designed to appeal to pilots and potential pilots and to offer a fascinating day out for aviation enthusiasts.
Organiser North Weald Exhibition Services, based at the former Battle of Britain HQ, boasts that it is possible to do everything from buying a pencil to filling in a flight plan for a plane.
The event attracts more than 500 visiting aircraft over the three days and there will be a ground display of classic aircraft from throughout the century which are at least 50-years-old.
There will also be a daily aerobatic display sponsored by Transair Pilot Shop.
Organiser Samantha Hutton said: "At Farnborough, general aviation has to take a back seat but at Aerofair we provide a forum for a market often neglected at larger events.
"We also have an increasingly popular marquee full of aviation memorabilia, books and other interesting items."
Aerofair is open tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 5.30pm. Admission is £7.50 with concessions available.
