On Sunday, Braintree completed a 39 points haul for the weekend by comfortably deflating Copford by eight wickets.
After a slow start to their innings, Copford eventually reached a respectable 180-8 from their 45 overs, with G Broomfield making 71.
For Braintree, Dave Hale took 3-36 and Andy Cook 3-39, while Steve Hale bowled a tight opening spell of 12 overs for only 25 runs, all of which laid the foundations for a fine victory.
Braintree had an early scare in their run chase when Dave Denny was caught behind the wicket for five with the scoreboard reading only 16.
But Andy Cook and Graham Gooday came together and then added 97 runs for the second wicket as Cook hit his second half century of the weekend.
Following Cook's departure for 59 with the score on 45, Neil Williams made a rapid undefeated innings of 46 as Braintree cruised to their target with over five overs and eight wickets to spare.
Just before the winning runs were struck, skipper, Graham Gooday secured his first half century of the season and finished 53 not out
This victory meant a double winning weekend for Braintree with Cook man of the match.
