Fast and close racing by some of the top riders in the region entertained a good size crowd at Stisted on Sunday at the Braintree and District Motorcycle Club scramble.
Stacy Harman made his journey from Kent worth while taking all three ACE four stroke championship races on his big 61 Husqvarna.
In the other classes it was Geoff Mayes, Aston Bird and Chriss Hockley taking all the victories.
In the sidecar class it was Tucker, Alan Dow with Peter Snell in the chair, both from Stebbing, who won all three races.
The third race in the sidecars did not however go quite to plan when most of the sidecars became stuck in the mud down in what was known as the bombhole.
Another local rider who gained some good results was Steve Finch of Gt Leighs who was making a come back after a lengthy lay off.
Riders and spectators alike all appreciated the work and effort put in by many Braintree members to put the scramble on and every one had a great days sport.
