The battle for this year's Old Spice Legends Cars Championship intensified at Knockhill with Team Old Spice driver Tick Steward (Colchester, Essex) capturing top honours for the first time this season.
Two race wins and a blistering performance meant victory for the 1996 World Champion, putting him back at the sharp end of the title fight.
Race One: Knockhill is one of Steward's favourite circuits and he was in fine racing form right from the start of race one. He took first place and set a new lap record of 63.54 seconds.
In Race Two Steward quickly recovered from his mid-grid starting position, putting in some neat moves on the top three to once again take control of the race.
The aggregate results from the first two races pushed Steward to the back of the grid for the final heat but he had no intention of staying there.
Stewart set a blistering pace to reach second place but ten laps proved too high a mountain to climb and had to settle for second.
An ecstatic Tick Steward secured overall victory thanks to his two race wins and a second place finish.
