If you have some spare time on your hands this summer and fancy a bit of a challenge, a playscheme is looking for your help.
Holiday Playschemes for Children with Disabilities (HOPS) will be running at two venues in Leigh and Thundersley throughout July and August.
The scheme at Cedar Hall School in Hart Road, Thundersley, will take place from July 26 to August 2 for youngsters with moderate learning difficulties.
Those with severe learning problems should go along to the Blenheim Centre in Blenheim Chase, Leigh, from August 6 to 27.
Volunteers are desperately needed to help out at both the playschemes, which are expected to attract about 150 children.
Helpers should be aged 16 or over and be enthusiastic and reliable.
Co-ordinator, Glynis Busby, said: "This is the fourth year that HOPS has been running now and those who have helped in the past have really enjoyed it.
"A lot of people come back and help each year but we still need more."
Anybody interested should contact Glynis on 01702 523598
