Galleywood totalled 183 for six at home to High Roding, Gareth Eley hitting an unbeaten 59, Nick Gill 49 and George Mawby 30.

Kevin Crisp bowled well for Roding and finished with two for 29 from 12 overs.

Roding's reply saw Tredgett make a patient 41 and a more rapid 49 from Welland followed but both were important as Roding reached 184 for seven and a three wicket victory with just one over to spare.

Broomfield entertained Ingatestone at Brooklands and suffered as the visitors made 200 for six.

After tea the home side were dismissed for 128, Pudney claiming four for 17 from 12 overs.

Corringham made 235 all out at home to South Weald. Gareth Jenkins scored 55 and there were other useful contributions from Hymas (45), Lane (37) and Maxted (31).

Weald were then dismissed for 114, Martin taking five for 17 from ten overs.

Old Chelmsfordians made 167 for nine at High Easter, Smith (59) top scoring while P King took three for 33 and A Chester three for 52.

R Swallow hit 44 in the reply as Easter were dismissed for 132.
