Lynn Bollington was the star of the show as Chelmsford Highway Ladies Hockey Club became the National Veterans' Champions for the second successive year.
Bollington, 37, scored five goals in the weekend Championships, which were staged at the National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes.
Lynn, from Chelmsford, who teaches at the Tabor High School in Braintree, said: ''It completed a brilliant season for the club, and after a couple of months rest, our first team will be back in preparation for next season's campaign in the National League Premier Division.
''Our aim is to survive in the premier division, and we will then be looking to build on that in future seasons.
''We have a good squad of players, and are confident that we can compete at the highest level''.
In the Veterans' Championships, Chelmsford beat Sherwood, Camberley, and Crosby before losing 1-0 to Wearys, but by the time they faced Wearys, the Essex side had already been assured of the championship.
