Influential Ipswich midfielder Matt Holland missed practice today (Friday) with a twisted ankle picked up during training on Wednesday.

He said: "It is a bit swollen but I have had treatment and have rested it, so it should be alright for Sunday."

Holland has played a club record 111 consecutive games for Town since joining from Bournemouth for £800,000 in the summer of 1997.

Town lost 1-0 at home and 2-0 away to Bolton this season but Holland believes they can get sweet revenge.

He said: "It is an advantage playing them so recently. We know they will play 4-4-2 and where their dangers are.

"We know where we went wrong, we have talked about it and we know what we have to do to put it right. It is also an advantage coming back to Portman Road on Wednesday knowing what we still have to do.

"We know it is over two legs so we will go to the Reebok Stadium not looking to concede but still get the vital away goals."

Town ended up in the play offs after seeing Bradford win at Wolves negating their own 4-1 win over Sheffield United.

George Burley has taken his players to horse racing at Huntingdon in a bid to relieve some of the pressure.

But the players have still had to do the extra training an extended season demands.

Holland said: "We have put last Sunday's disappointment behind us. We are looking ahead and for many of us it is a good chance to play at Wembley for the first time.

"The spirit is good among the players. The same old jokes are being played in the dressing room."
