A wildflower garden in West Clacton is opening its gates to the public.

Alan Seymour will be welcoming visitors to his large town garden at 8 The Approach on Saturday from 11am until 5pm.

There are ten distinctive areas including a woodland and cornflower area and a large pond and more than 188 different plants are blooming in the garden.

Admission is free but Mr Seymour will be raising funds for Essex Wildlife Trust by selling some 2,000 plants.
