Concerns are growing over a teenager who has been missing from a Chelmsford children's home for almost three weeks.
Eve Durrant, 13, was last seen at the home in Chignal Road on Saturday, April 24.
When she failed to return it was thought she may have gone to Basildon, her home town. But despite possible sightings of the youngster in Chelmsford, she has not been traced.
A spokeswoman for Chelmsford police said they were extremely concerned for Eve as she had been missing for such a long time.
"We are extremely concerned for her well-being because of her age and she is very vulnerable. We are concerned she may be with a much older man and we urge anyone who may have seen her to contact us immediately," she added.
Eve, who is shown in this picture taken three days before she went missing, is about 5ft 3ins tall, slim, with blue green eyes and long, light brown hair.
She also has a scar on her forehead and was wearing black trousers and shoes, a blue and white fleece jumper and a black choker necklace with a dolphin motif.
If you have any information or have seen Eve, please contact Det Sgt Andy Tyson at Chelmsford police on 01245 491212
