This massive plate has been specially made to show just how much it's possible to eat in one visit to Runwell's new Toby Carvery!
The three and a half foot dish is filled with much more than the average belly could cope with but staff at the Runwell Road eaterie say locals are welcome to give it a try and enjoy a roast diner plus as much veg as they want.
The 140-seat restaurant - formerly the Thomas Kemble hotel - has just reopened its doors with the help of 50 new staff after a £1 million refit to give it a cosy family atmosphere.
The walls are decorated with photographs and specially created cartoons of great British heroes, from Winston Churchill to the Spice Girls.
Specialities on the menu include puddings accompanied by an endless supply from Toby's Bottomless Custard Jug.
During its first month of operation the restaurant will make a donation to Basildon Hospital's baby scanner appeal for every gallon of custard used.
Three and a half feet feat - the Runwell restaurant plans to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites
