Pupils at Downham Primary School had a lesson in African culture and enjoyed stories, music and dance from performer Winston Lewis.
Headteacher Judi Byrne said: "The overall topic being studied in school is Africa. This visit has been a very good stimulus at the start of term to get the pupils interested in finding out more about the vast continent."
