This orphaned badger is desperately in need of your help after being found badly injured by a concerned passer by.
Thurrock Wildlife Concern took the badger in after it was discovered in Laindon Road, Billericay.
It had earlier been spotted by an off-duty police sergeant. Sue Schwar, of Thurrock Wildlife Concern, explained that more money is needed if the group is to continue its good work.
She said: "We desperately need funding for a wide variety of things like our ambulance and our special canoe for rescuing swans which now has a crack in it.
"On top of that we are raising money to build an animal hospital which is going to cost hundreds of thousands of pounds, so we really need people's help."
Anyone who wants to help the concern - which cares for a wide variety of animals - can send donations to Thurrock Wildlife Concern, PO Box 8, RM17 5FF.
