The Dunmow & District Motorcycle Club have a good number of entries for Rounds of the Ace Four Stroke Solo Series and the Eastern Centre Sidecar Championships on Sunday (May 2) at Stebbing near Dunmow.
The club also have a full line-up of solo entries in the Open Class.
The Ace Four Stroke series is new to the Stebbing track and the roar of the four stroke machines away from the start line is eagerly awaited.
Clint Wright will be keen to impress in the open solo class after securing sponsorships with Sabre Sport and local firm Byford and Company. Clint is riding a 1999 model Suzuki 125cc.
The Stebbing track includes a huge tabletop jump which is very spectacular, bikes leap some 15 feet into the air after take-off.
The mud hole, always a popular viewing area will have plenty of water in following the recent wet weather.
If riders do emerge on the other side of the mud hole, the track layout sees a series of S bends while the tyres are still wet, providing plenty of slipping and sliding!
Admission charges are £5 for adults, £3 for OAP's and £1 for children. Car parking is free and a programme costs just £1.
Practice starts at mid-day with the racing getting underway at 1.30pm.
