Ipswich Witches will be desperate to get back into the winning habit at Foxhall stadium tonight (start time 7.30pm), when they entertain the powerful Wolverhampton Wolves.
After three consecutive defeats the management have confirmed that they are now looking at possibilities to strengthen the side and a change to the line-up looks almost certain unless an immediate improvement is seen.
Due to the dreaded points limit, options for a change are limited, although there are a number of riders currently seeking a team position.
Whether either of these is being considered remains to be seen and any change is unlikely until after the team's visit to Hull next Wednesday.
Wolves have had a great start to their Craven Shield campaign and are on course for a top-four position which will ensure their place in the end of season play offs.
Much of their success this year can be attributed to last season's Premier League star Nicki Pedersen.
The target of many Elite League clubs during the winter, the exciting Dane was snapped up on a full transfer from Newcastle and has been in fine form for his new club where he is now third heat leader.
Having been mauled 57-33 when they visited Monmore Green at the end of March, the aggregate bonus point looks out of the Witches reach and two points for the win will be their realistic goal.
In an effort to assist reserve Jason Bunyan team manager Mike Smillie has switched the Witches reserve pairing to give the youngster some easier rides.
"At number seven Jason will have an opposing reserve in all of his heats rather than just two and hopefully this will give his confidence a boost" - said Smillie.
Meanwhile Savalas Clouting who has missed the Witches last two meetings with a broken finger is set to return after recovering sufficiently from the injury.
Ipswich: Chris Louis, Brett Woodifield, Toni Svab, Ben Howe, Tomasz Gollob, Savalas Clouting, Jason Bunyan.
Wolverhampton: Mikael Karlsson, George Stancl, Nicki Pedersen, Jesper B Jensen, Peter Karlsson, Richard Juul, Craig Taylor.
