The form book will be thrown out of the window for the East Anglian derby on Sunday.

Forget the fact Ipswich have managed 31 points from their last 36.

Ignore their record-breaking 23 clean sheets in the league and don't bother mentioning they have netted nine goals in their last two games.

So what that Norwich are languishing in mid-table and have not put anything like a decent run together all year?

This is a one-off and Blues' boss George Burley is treating it like a cup tie.

He said: "We can forget about promotion for the weekend.

"We have everything to play for while they are playing for pride.

"We are second and people will say the pressure is on us but I enjoy being second. I would rather be where we are than where Norwich are."

With Bradford meeting Portsmouth tomorrow the Bantams could go ahead of Town for 24 hours but only on goal difference.

Burley said: "It doesn't matter what Bradford do. We know what we must do and it is in our own hands.

"There are six games to go with everything to play for."

Bobby Petta played in the reserves' 4-0 win over West Ham and returns to the bench in place of Marco Holster.

With Manuel Thetis still banned Burley is in a quandary over whether to use fit-again Adam Tanner or the recovering Jason Cundy, which will mean Wayne Brown dropping out of the reckoning.

Kieron Dyer has recovered well from his broken from leg and is expected to resume full training next week.

He may even be included in the reserve game against Tottenham Hotspur at Portman Road.
