Colchester United will be looking to pick up where they left off against Preston, when they entertain high-flying Walsall on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

The U's recorded an excellent 1-0 home win against then second-placed Preston, and face a similar task against the Midlanders.

U's manager, Mick Wadsworth, said: "I am pleased with the recent home form having beaten promotion chasing Preston, and we should have got a result against Manchester City.

"Lomana Tresor Lua Lua will start up front tomorrow, with Jason Dozzell and Karl Duguid, but Warren Aspinall will be out due to a one-match suspension."

Aspinall, who scored the winner against Preston and is affectionately nick-named the 'flying pig' by Wadsworth, will be replaced in midfield by Paul Buckle who has shown recent good form.

That win eased Wadsworth's immediate relegation worries but the U's boss is well aware that his side are far from mid-table safety.

"I don't set targets as it always seem that you're never going to reach them" he said.

"We have just got to aim to win all our remaining matches."

Lua Lua will be trying to prove a point tomorrow after being sent off at Burnley last Saturday in the 3-1 defeat.

He has shown a lot of promise in recent reserve games, scoring several hat-tricks, and Wadsworth has shown faith in him by giving him a chance in the first team.
