Clumsy Karl Wood caught the attention of police when he failed to negotiate a bend on his motorbike as he had left the stand down, a court heard.
Wood, 18, of Hornby Avenue, Westcliff, got into trouble as he tried to corner his Yamaha motorbike while travelling along the A127 in Leigh in the early hours of March 13.
Appearing at Southend Magistrates Court, Wood pleaded guilty to one charge of drink driving.
He told magistrates he had gone to the pub after being kicked out of his house.
Wood was fined £300, ordered to pay £50 costs and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
