A baby girl was flown to hospital after suffering burns at Harwich International Port.
The six-month-old child was sitting in her mother's lap in the terminal building when she was scalded on the head and face by hot coffee.
Staff at the port called the emergency services after the accident on Saturday morning and the Essex air ambulance took the baby to Colchester Hospital.
She was then switched to the burns unit at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.
