A giant bronze sculpture of a horse made the journey from a Braintree foundry to its new home in Liverpool on Tuesday.
Called The Great Escape, the sculpture stands 14 ft tall and weighs more than three tons.
Artist, Edward Cronshaw, spent two years working on the sculpture at the Nautilus Fine Art Foundry in Swinborne Drive on Springwood Industrial Estate.
The company was commissioned to make the sculpture by Liverpool City Council.
Managing director of Nautilus, Rod Seaman, said the removal operation had gone to plan.
Rod Seaman is pictured (left) with Paul Joyce and Charlie Dearing of Nautilus, and removal men Joe Tinsley and Lew Lawrence (top right) during the operation.
