Police have released an e-fit of the gunman involved in the attempted robbery of a Linford post office.
The incident took place on Monday, March 22, at the sub-post office and general stores in East Tilbury Road. Two men entered the store and demanded cash.
However, both fled after the postmaster pushed the gunman in the chest, causing him to fall over.
Police say the gunman was around 35 to 40 years old, black, five foot tall, wore black trousers and a blue top and carried a hand gun. His accomplice was also black, wearing dark clothing and a balaclava.
If you have any information or recognise the man, call DC Roy Stammers at Tilbury police on 01375 851212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
