FromThursday day tickets will be available from the Sudbury Angling Centre, Acton Square, Sudbury, and Haverhill Angling Centre, to fish the LAA's picturesque Bures Lake and three lakes at Glemsford.
At £3 per day, and £1.50 for juniors, this provides excellent value as the waters contain very large specimens of bream and tench, along with some pike.
As the lakes are permanently padlocked, when a day permit is purchased it will be necessary to get a key with the ticket, at a refundable deposit of £5, from the fishing tackle shops.
Car parking is within the bounds of the lakes, inside the gates only, at the marked sites.
It is also possible to get LAA Associate permits, (or full membership privilege tickets through your own angling clubs), for all the year membership to fish at the Association's many national river venues, excepting during the river coarse fishing close season.
At present a daily Game permit for members is available from LAA London HQ to fish their River Avon venue at Britford, near Salisbury, for trout and salmon.
