A Westcliff training college has just won a special accolade praising it for its work with disabled staff.
Prospects Business Technology Training college gained the special disability symbol award for its commitment to employing disabled workers.
The Fairfax Drive centre was one of only 20 employers from across London and the south east to receive the award from the Employment Service.
Award organiser Graham Huggins said: "I'm delighted to see that employers like Prospects are realising that people with disabilities can make an extremely valuable contribution to their business.
"Employers need to recognise that they could be missing out on a great deal of potential if they ignore people with disabilities.
"That is why at the Employment Service we are supporting firms who want to take on disabled people."
Prospects is also recognised as an Investor in People and it holds a national training award.
