Chelmsford Chieftains have attained renewed sponsorship from the international soft drink company, PepsiCo, to support the team's bid for their 1999-2000 English Premier League title.
The commitment for a second year from PepsiCo brand, 7-Up, gives security to the Chelmsford Chieftains for the 1999-2000 season and coincides with the team's successful qualification to the Premier League play-offs.
John Blundell, public relations and marketing director for the Chelmsford Chieftains said of the alliance: "Confirmation of 7-Up's continued support for next season is a fantastic boost for the Chelmsford Chieftains and allows us to plan the squad at a very early stage."
Kyle Whitehill, franchise director of PepsiCo UK said: "It is the Chelmsford Chieftains' dedication to grassroots sport and its fighting spirit that has won 7-Up's full support for next season.
"We are delighted to be associated with the team for a second year and wish them every success in the 1999-2000 English Premier League."
