The passengers who died in the tragic car accident on the A120 on Sunday have been formally identifed by police.
Raymond Lamb known by his middle name Michael, 32, of the Quadrangle Chelsea Harbour, London, and Fiona Newman, 37, of Edge Hill, Wimbledon, London, were both killed after the McLaren F1 sports car they were in hit a tree and was engulfed in flames.
Multimillionaire computer tycoon Christopher John Dawes, 39, of Merks Hall, Great Dunmow, who was driving the £640,000 car was also killed.
The accident happened on the A120 between Dunmow and Braintree.
Forensic examinations are under way to try to establish exactly what happened and police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident to ring Bocking traffic police on 01376 330722.
