Eighty excited members of a South Woodham Ferrers choir will have their dream come true when they perform on Blue Peter.
The youngsters will sing the old ELO tune Rock and Roll is King on tomorrow's live show.
The Choirwood rock and pop group were invited on to the early evening BBC1 programme after young member Roma Buckler sent off a letter.
Presenters asked viewers to write in if they had an unusual hobby worth featuring in their new Your Spot slot.
Roma decided to tell them all about her involvement with the choir and its accompanying band.
The 12-year-old, from South Woodham, wrote: "I bet the average choir does not have the opportunity to go rock climbing, abseiling and canoeing.
"I have done all these things when we have been on tour to Devon and the Peak District.
"I have sung in high places, for example the Heights of Abraham in the Peak District where we had to transport the choir and all its electrical equipment and instruments by cable car!"
She also mentioned singing with Donny Osmond at the Royal Albert Hall for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's 50th birthday and performing at Wembley Arena, a US airbase and with Philip Schofield in Joseph.
Roma finished her letter by saying: "When I look back on my time with the choir I am amazed at all the things I have done and I'm still only 12 years old."
The youngsters will arrive at the TV studios five hours before their performance to give them plenty of time to set up and rehearse.
Roma's mum Valerie said: "The youngsters are really looking forward to it. They're dying to get there!"
The choir has about 100 members aged between ten and 19 and meets every week at Chetwood Primary School in Gandalf Ride, South Woodham. There is also a junior section with 100 members aged six to ten years old. Blue Peter begins at 5.10pm tomorrow.
