Jason Cundy looks to take another important step on his comeback with a trip to Norwich reserves tonight.
The Ipswich central-defender has been out of action since a skipping accident last July and is eager for a return to the first team.
But he has been unable to get back to match fitness due to a lack of reserve matches.
But he will play against Norwich and Town are due to meet Colchester United reserves at Portman Road next Wednesday.
With Manuel Thetis sure to start at least a three-match ban, following his sending-off at West Brom and his hefty amount of bookings, Cundy is back in the reckoning along with Adam Tanner who also plays tonight.
Arsenal teenager Claydon Cowell will play after showing well in the under-19s' Academy while on trial.
It looks as if Magilton will be Town's last signing this season after George Burley looked to have failed to bring in a new face before today's 5pm transfer deadline.
