For being the greatest loser, Jeff Cadywould is definitely a winner at his Slimming World class.

Super slimmer Jeff, 32, of Moor Park Gardens, Leigh, has lost an incredible six stones since he started the healthy eating plan nine months ago.

His sister-in-law was going along to the Slimming World class at Rochford's Freight House in Bradley Way and urged Jeff to join.

He has won the group's greatest loser title after dropping from a 44-inch waist to 30. Jeff said he would always remember his first Slimming World class because the England football team were playing in the World Cup on the same night.

Slimming World consultant Linzie Banks said: "Through the Slimming World eating plans Jeff has re-educated himself to a healthy diet and has never looked back.

"His family and friends have been behind him all the way and the other class members find him a real inspiration.

"When he first walked in I knew he was feeling uncomfortable about it but we all made him welcome and encouraged him.

"There has been a real transformation in more ways than one.

"He looks terrific and he has so much more confidence."
