Maldon Ladies will be surfing the internet tomorrow night to find out if they are to be crowned champions of the EWHA Hockey League Division One.
The red hot mid Essex ladies side are currently five points clear of Dunmow at the top having completed their league season, while Dunmow still have two games to play.
"We are sweating on Dunmow's results," said captain and sweeper Stella Pipe who has just been voted Maldon's Player-of-the-Year along with Emma Cockerill.
"They have tough away games at Billericay and Wapping and have to win them both to overhaul us at the top
"They must win, a draw is no good to them and we'll be surfing the internet to see how they got on."
Stella will be out riding her horse while Dunmow are in action on Saturday and admits that she will be missing her hockey in which Maldon have won every game since November - boosting their goals for total to 52 with 12 in their last three outings.
Braintree Ladies, currently lying in second spot, cannot win the Premier Division title, Chelmsford are already assured of that.
But they will be aiming to finish their season with a flourish by winning the last two games against Brentwood this weekend at home and away.
Fixture secretary and first team defender Ann Whipps said: "We have enjoyed a great season, but Chelmsford are just out of our reach at the top."
Braintree meet Brentwood at Four Releet tomorrow, pushback 1pm, before wrapping up their league programme at Brentwood on Sunday afternoon. Clacton Men will be playing for pride when they take on West Herts tomorrow.
Although the Seasiders are currently sitting in fourth from bottom spot in the Premier Holidays East League Premier A, they are in no danger of dropping out.
And skipper Nigel Brown's pre-match prediction is: "We're going out to stuff West Herts tomorrow."
Only West Herts, Bishop's Stortford and Bedford are below Clacton, who have two games to play, and Brown is looking for an impressive performance as a warm-up for the "big finale" against Colchester next Saturday.
"It's as good as six points in the bag for us," said Brown.
