This was a very tough and physical encounter for both teams.
The game started evenly with both teams working hard on defence and matching each other point for point for the first 10 minutes.
Then an excellent run of scores for Scorpions, inspired by Lyn Peak, took them to an 11 point lead at half-time.
Wildcats came back strongly in the second half led by Rachel Coughi, who had her best game for the club.
Scorpions' physical defence kept Wildcats at bay at crucial moments of the half when the home team looked like stealing the game.
Karen Cooper, for Wildcats, had a great second half, collecting both offensive and defensive rebounds but in the end it was Scorpions who went home the happier team.
