Billericay Town laid a couple of ghosts to rest as they boosted their bid for a high finish in the Ryman League Premier Division.
After managing just two goals in their past seven games, they went to a Dulwich side in danger of being sucked into the relegation dogfight and hit four.
Not only that, but they also ended their run of five successive penalty misses, when midfielder Dean Parratt converted one after a 34th-minute push on David Adekola.
Top scorer Adekola and fellow striker Steve Portway were on top form for injury-depleted Billericay.
With Chris Moore suffering from a back problem, Kevin Jordan stepped in efficiently at the heart of defence with Marc Sinfield.
Only good saves from home keeper Les Cleevely to thwart Adekola twice, plus a Russell Edwards clearance off the line from Parratt, stopped Dulwich falling behind before Portway shot Town ahead through a crowded area on the half-hour.
Parratt's spot-kick seemed to make the game safe, but Dulwich were revitalised after the interval with danger-man Dave Stevens twice forcing Dave Root into fine saves.
Luke Anderson's header after 67 minutes reduced the arrears, but Billericay restored their two-goal lead four minutes later when Billy Goldstone and Jon Hooker set up Adekola.
Stevens ensured an anxious finish with a second for Dulwich, but Portway grabbed his third goal in two games late on to consolidate seventh spot for Town.
