Chelmsford City travel to the Sussex coast for Saturday's Dr Martens League match at St Leonards with manager Gary Bellamy struggling to find 11 fully fit senior players.
City will definitely be without Barry Lakin, who has been handed a four match ban following a recent sending off.
Also out are Kevin Dobinson, Grant Strong and Scott Darton, while the league's top goalscorer, Ian Cambridge, who is suffering with a bad calf injury, may be unfit to play.
"Playing resources are definitely stretched at the moment but we shall cope with the younger players coming in and taking their chance in the first team," Bellamy said.
"It will be a difficult game tomorrow but we need to play the way we did in the first half against Folkestone," he said.
" I warned the players at half time not to lose the momentum and keep their concentration because they would become frustrated, which is exactly what happened."
Bellamy added: "I still think we were well worth our victory against what was a far more experienced and expensive side.
But we have to maintain our form and be more consistent over 90 minutes.''
One player certain to be in Saturday's line-up is Tesfaye Bramble. The protracted transfer negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur have continued this week and Bellamy is confident that a deal will be finalised "within the next few days."
"He will be going to Spurs as provisionally agreed and it's now a question of getting everybody around the table in one to sort out the details," he said. "At least Tes will play for us in the meantime.''
City, who again have no midweek game next week, have been able to retain goalkeeper Paul Catley on loan from Braintree Town for the rest of the season.
Off the field, City directors, players and supporters should hear late next week of the outcome of the recent public inquiry in the redevelopment of the old Stadium in New Writtle Street.
If Countryside Properties win their planning appeal the club expects to formally submit plans for the new Boreham site.
