Youngsters at a Benfleet school will be putting on a show to raise cash in the memory of a fellow pupil.
Senior prefects at the Appleton School have arranged the lunchtime cabaret on Friday to collect funds for the Meningitis Trust.
The charity was chosen in honour of Mitchell Kemp, the 14-year-old pupil who died as a result of the disease.
Staff and children who want to show their hidden talents can pay for a slot in the show, while others will also chip in to be part of the audience.
