Basildon's newest radio station is on the hunt for enthusiastic volunteer presenters for its 28-day broadcast in June.
Eastgate FM has been granted a licence to broadcast in the town between June 13 and July 10 and is set to provide music to suit all tastes.
Steve King is group co-ordinator of the Skyland Group, which is going to be running the station.
He said: "Presenters that reflect the unique community in Basildon, Laindon, Pitsea and Vange are urgently needed."
It's not just pop mad youngsters they are after.
"We want people of all ages, 16 to over 60, so that we can cater for all tastes and local interests," said Steve.
"We are also looking for ideas for specialised programmes."
