Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a car and a lorry in Colchester which left a Harwich man with serious leg injuries.
An Essex Police spokesman said the accident happened in Parsons Heath Road at about 10.20am yesterday.
It involved a Ford Iveco lorry being driven by 19-year-old Justin Brackenbury, of Upper Town, Packenham, Suffolk, and a Nissan Primera being driven by Richard Wood, 43, of Rosebank, Harwich.
Mr Wood suffered leg injuries and was taken to Colchester General Hospital. The lorry driver was unhurt.
