People with queries about the Budget can visit This Is Essex's chat rooms on Friday, March 12, and talk to tax experts directly.
In a discussion organised by This Is Essex's sister site This Is Leicestershire specialists from the Leicester branch of Deloite & Touche will be hosting an online discussion at 1pm this Friday to help anyone who has any questions regarding this week's Budget.
Mrs Jane Seabrooke, senior tax manager at the Leicester branch of chartered accountants and management consultants, said it would be an excellent opportunity for people who are confused about the Budget or need advice.
The hour-long chat opportunity is aimed at a wide range of internet users, from businesses to home users and schools.
Mrs Seabrooke said: "I will be able to answer any questions on tax issues and the general budget and any answer I do not know there and then, I will research into. It should be great fun."
Mr Simon Crane, New Media Editor for the Leicester Mercury Group, said: "We hope this will be the first of a series of business sessions that allows our users to seek information from a range of experts in a variety of fields.
"The timing of the chat should give schools the chance to join in and perhaps use the event as part of their course work.
Mrs Seabrooke believes the internet is the way of the future and expects a lot of people to log on for this chat.
