PUPILS at a Basildon school are following the yellow brick road after a six-week art project has seen them recreate scenes from classic film the Wizard of Oz.
As part of the project, called There's No Place Like..., students from Kingswood Junior School have worked with artists to create a lifesize Tin Man, Scarecrow and Lion.
They have also created talking trees and technicolour flowers and used mirrors and paper to make a tornado room.
As part of the project - run by Creative Partnerships Thames Gateway - they are hoping to make a full-length musical version of the film next year.
