THUNDERSLEY'S Louisa Brownfield is jetting off to South Africa today - and hopes to keep racking up the air miles to get her to Melbourne next year.
The netball star is back in England's first team squad for a three-test tour of South Africa and knows that a strong performance there will keep her in contention for a trip to the Commonwealth Games in March.
"Everything we are doing as a squad is geared towards selection for the Commonwealths," she said.
"We've been preparing for a few months now and we have this tour and a trip to Jamaica in January as well as practise matches and training camps.
"We all know this will count towards the final selection on a couple of months time."
