BILLERICAY MP John Baron today claimed the Government could be about to act on illegal traveller sites, after a private head-to-head with John Prescott.
After the talks at Westminster, Mr Prescott's office confirmed laws dealing with unauthorised camps could be toughened.
The Deputy Prime Minister is now considering visiting Crays Hill for a public meeting open to travellers and residents.
