THE Crown Prosecution Service has revealed it has received a file from Essex Police regarding a doctor struck off for serious professional misconduct.
The file on Ann David, a former consultant anaesthetist at Basildon Hospital, arrived with a special case worker yesterday afternoon following a General Medical Council hearing.
The medical council's panel found Dr David's treatment of former milkman Robert Symons to be "irresponsible and unprofessional" and she was "clinically unjustified" in stopping his ventilation.
