THE plaque marking the completion of Southend's revamped High Street has finally been unveiled.
Councillors and other dignitaries gathered at Victoria Circus to see the plaque unveiled by James Duddridge, Rochford and Southend East Tory MP.
The revamp, funded from the £5million Sshape regeneration scheme, has been plagued with problems with sections being pulled up and relaid because the council was dissatisfied with the work.
