ANTON Ferdinand's header 90 seconds into stoppage time clawed back a deserved point for West Ham in this London derby clash.
He rose above a Spurs defence unsettled by the presence of Irons keeper Shaka Hislop to plant a free header beyond Paul Robinson and deny the home side local bragging rights.
As a home grown Hammer, steeped in the traditional hatred of Tottenham, his spontaneous dance of glee in front of the travelling faithful towards the corner flag from which Paul Konchesky had delivered the vital cross told how much this point meant to the team.
Yet it had seemed an effortful - if not always wholly convincing - display would go unjustly unrewarded despite the home side's failure to capatilise on a shaky start from West Ham.
