Bromley 1 Billericay Town 0
DESPITE having several good scoring chances, Billericay Town saw their Ryman Premier promotion hopes take another knock at Bromley.
In front of a 403 strong crowd Billericay were under the cosh early on and visiting goalkeeper Dale Brightly did superbly to tip away Nic McDonnell's sixth minute effort.
However, although Brightly punched the resultant Sam Wood corner away, home debut man Jones Awuah rifled home the rebound.
And that proved to be the only goal of the game as Town's Danny Hockton and Nathan Elder both failed to convert good chances.
Justin Edinburgh's men will bid to improve their current 10th placing tomorrow night when they host second from bottom Windsor and Eton in a must win game at New Lodge (7.45pm).
