Jason De Vos will be measuring how far Ipswich Town have come when they go head-to-head with Reading.

The Coca-Cola Championship's second-placed team visit Portman Road tonight - having only lost once in the League all season - with defender De Vos keen to tip the scales in Town's favour by securing three points.

Ipswich will also be looking to avenge a below-par 2-0 defeat suffered at the Madejski Stadium just five weeks ago, with the Canadian international desperate to restore some pride to the Blues' ranks.

De Vos told the Gazette: "It was a poor performance on our part at Reading.

"We didn't give a good account of ourselves, but now we have an opportunity to put that right and show them and our fans what we're capable of.

"Reading have been the most consistent team in the division this season - much like how we were last year - and it will be a good yardstick for us to see if we can pick up points against them tonight.

"There's no question that it's a winnable game for us. There's nothing in this league that we need to be afraid of and if we play like we know we can, we'll have every chance of picking up the three points."
