CRAYLANDS residents have given their backing to the Government's most radical redevelopment plan for the rundown estate.
Hundreds of residents made their feelings clear at an event designed to help decide the future of Craylands.
Four options were revealed by the Government development agency English Partnerships, and option three - the maximum reconfiguration option - was a clear favourite.
It would see vast swathes of houses knocked down to make way for new homes, a new community centre and a bus route running through the estate.
Residents voted for their favourite model in questionnaires given out at the exhibition and the preferred development option will be revealed by English Partnerships next Easter.
