Colchester United are not ready to make any knee-jerk reaction in their bid to attract the 'stay-away' fans back through the Layer Road gates.
The U's are currently pulling in the lowest average home attendances - 3,062 - in Coca-Cola League One.
But U's chief executive Marie Partner said: "It seems any drop in attendances will only be a short-term thing, if this past week has been anything to go by.
"With the team's recent climb up the League One table, we have found that interest is high both on and off the pitch."
