THURROCK Residents Action Group has changed its name in order to better reflect its role in the community.
The group will now be called 'ngage' and they have organised a community event to let people know about the work they do. It will take place on Tuesday, November 29 at The Beehive Voluntary & Community Resource Centre, West Street, Grays.
Community Development worker Debbie Buck said: "The community remain the most important link in the work we do, which is why we would like residents to help us celebrate the new changes within our organisation and become more ngaged in the community.
"So why not use this opportunity to come along and find out about ngage and the services they offer. This event will also provide an excellent opportunity to network with some local groups and organisation, and to take away useful information.
"If you represent a group or organisation if you could bring along some information it can be displayed on our 'Information Swap Shop' table.
Please drop in and show your support, and see how ngage can continue to work with you and the community. A light buffet and refreshments will be available." The group can be contacted on 01375 389893 or by calling in at the Beehive, though it is advisable to ring first.
