HOLDERS Grays face a tough test as they embark on the defence of the FA Trophy with the borough's other two sides remaining the the competition also having diffiuclt games ahead.
Conference leaders Grays have been drawn away to Aldershot in the first round proper that will be played on Saturday, December 17. Grays have already beaten the Shots 2-1 at home in a league fixture in August.
Thurrock's dubious prize for their fine win at Eastbourne Borough on Saturday is a derby clash at Conference team Dagenham and Redbridge.
And there's another derby in store if East Thurrock United can beat Tonbridge angels in Tuesday night's replay. The winners will entertain Conference side Gravesend and Northfleet.
