SOUTHEND were left kicking themselves after a late collapse cost them a National Division Three South victory at Dings Crusaders on Saturday.
The Seasiders were cruising with 10 minutes to go, but let a 22-10 grasp and were forced to settle for just a point.
However, Southend's director of rugby Kevin Harman tried to remain upbeat. "I was pleased with our attitude and commitment throughout the game," he said.
"But I must admit to having mixed emotions as we failed to defend a 22-10 lead with only 10 minutes to go."
